Sarah Fiene played her debut recital in Carnegie Recital Hall
in 1991 as an Artist International Winner. As a chamber and orchestral
musician she has performed throughout the United States, Canada,
Europe and Asia. During the six years Sarah lived in New York
City, she performed, recorded and toured with the Orchestra of
St. Luke's, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the American Composer's
Orchestra and the American Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Some of the local San Francisco groups with which Ms. Fiene
has performed are Philharmonia Baroque, Empyrean Ensemble,
the San Francisco Ballet and the San Francisco Symphony. She
also held the position of Principal Cellist of the Sacramento
Philharmonic Orchestra for five years. Sarah is the founder and
Artistic Director of Ensemble Phoenix, formerly Trio Phoenix.
Trio Phoenix recorded a CD of Chamber Music by Henry Cowell for
Koch International.
